Our Castillo de Lerisia wines are crafted from carefully selected parcels to deliver the very best value possible in a no-fuss, all-rounder style. The Spanish region of Jumilla's far south is an area well known for its concentrated wines that truly over-deliver in the glass. We love their easy-going fruitiness, and this wine is no exception. It's a zippy, zesty white blend, based on Sauvignon Blanc, that is ideally suited to pairing with seafood dishes and (of course) serving by the glass, nice and chilled on its own.

What our expert thinks...

A bit of an insider secret, this Spanish delight has a refreshing, crisp texture. There are zesty lemon and sweet pear characters, giving you freshness and supple fruit. All together it makes it a splendid choice for a light brunch or a seaside picnic.

Lovely wine. Subtle and delightful

Lovely wine. Didn't pair with food but it is light and fresh. I was worried as the label appeared to say fruity so I thought it might be sweet, but it's dry and fresh. And easy to drink. I like a bottle label and this one was a bit boring for me so in a usual shop I would have passed it by.

I liked the gentle character of this white wine. It would have a job to offend anybody. Light with floral overtones and perfect pear undertones with no unpleasant acid aftertaste. Affordable and likeable. I would buy again.
