Our Castillo de Lerisia wines are crafted from carefully selected parcels to deliver the very best value possible in a no-fuss, all-rounder style. The Spanish region of Jumilla's far south is an area well known for its concentrated wines that truly over-deliver in the glass. We love their easy-going fruitiness, and this wine is no exception. It's a southern Spanish red blend, based on Tempranillo, which is light on its feet and delivers a huge slug of juicy red berry fruit with a lovely, crisp, lip-smacking finish. Great with a tomato-based pasta.

Aroma: Red berry fruit with hints of prunes and dates
On the palate: Juicy and rounded with a nice crunchy finish

A wine that takes you to the Spanish countryside with its smooth, earthy texture. There is blend of dark cherry and ripe fig flavours, offering a taste of Spanish terroir. Enjoy this versatile wine with tapas or a casual dinner with friends.

Had before but not consumed yet.

This wine was part of a mixed case. It was very disappointing - lacking in body with no fruit or any flavour. It was dry with a poor after taste. Its a bottom self supermarket wine. I am not looking forward to the rest of the wines in this case.

More of a table wine but surprisingly palatable with the right food. 3.5/5 stars for me.
