Canceddi is the local Sicilian word for the traditional woven baskets used in times gone by to collect and carry the grapes at harvest time. While harvest methods have changed somewhat over the years, tradition will always be present in Italian wine. This wonderful Côtes du Rhône is crafted by winemaking brothers, Hervé and Sebastien, at their family-owned domain. It was only right that we paid homage to this great bay with this wine. Sourced from coastal vineyards benefitting from the Bight's cooling influence, this Shiraz has an abundance of dark plum, red fruit and spice notes, tempered by a lifting freshness. Pair alongside roast beef with lashings of gravy and crispy potatoes.
